In order to strengthen the cohesion of teachers and students, and to welcome the 87th anniversary of the university with full enthusiasm and high spirit, the State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, together with the research groups of Zheng Yueqin, Fan Wenpei, and Li Fei, organized a basketball match to welcome the anniversary of the university on the afternoon of Nov. 15th. Yang Hua, deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, Wang Zhigang, deputy secretary of Party Committee and deputy director of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, and nearly thirty graduate students participated in this activity.
Yang Hua kicked off the game at mid-court and then the game started officially. Players were passionate and basketball alternately flow to the hands of the red and blue players. Defending, rebounding and shooting, both sides alternately scored, making the scene very lively. The atmosphere at the venue was also ignited by the enthusiastic fans, whose cheers echoed throughout the gym. The entire basketball arena was filled with the spirit of sportsmanship.
This basketball match is one of the series activities of Teachers and Students as One Family Climb the Peak Hand in Hand. As the 87th anniversary of the school is approaching, a platform for communication and collaboration between teachers and students has been provided, which is also an essential measure to implement the policy of Five Educations. The basketball match fully demonstrated the energetic spirit and upward spirit of Pharmaceutical University, helping to guide the teachers and students to be physically fit and to devote themselves to scientific research with with a positive attitude.
