The State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines organized the theme educational activity of Learning the Spirit of Lei Feng, Dedicating to the Light of Youth for the representatives of the students' Party activists and Party members in Room 106 of Wenshuyuan (E5) on Jiangning Campus on the 61st Lei Feng Memorial Day to deeply implement the important exposition of General Secretary Xi Jinping on learning the spirit of Lei Feng, and guide young students to deeply grasp the connotation of the spirit of Lei Feng in the new era. Wang Zhigang, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, attended the activity, which was hosted by counselor Li Yameng.
Li Yameng firstly introduced the specific connotation and practical significance of Lei Feng's spirit and how to practise it. Then, all the participants watched the video Lei Feng’s Biography, shared the learning experience, and cleaned up the community, sorted out the items in the activity room, cleaned up the surrounding garbage, beautified the community environment, and learned the meaning of the labor service.
Tiny glimmers of light converge into a torch. This theme activity carried forward the Lei Feng spirit of dedication, fraternity, mutual help and progress with practical actions and spread positive energy. After the activity, students said that learning the spirit of Lei Feng is a profound ideological baptism and spiritual sublimation. Through the study, they felt Leifeng’s powerful role and far-reaching influence, and strengthened their ideals and beliefs, and will continue to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng, constantly improve the overall quality and sense of dedication, add more warmth and strength to society, and realize the value of their lives in ordinary life.
