Recently, representatives of teachers and students of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines and members of Jiangning Binjiang Book Club carried out reading exchange activities and invited Mr. Zhang Weiliang, a member of Jiangsu Writers' Association, to share his writing experience. The exchanges are aimed at responding positively to the theme activitiy Four Encouragements in the winter vacation and Infuse the Soul action, and enriching the life of graduate students of State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, and widening the development path of the “Books Benifit”Reading Club in the student community of Wenshuyuan (E5).
At the beginning of the event, Li Nianhan, a member of Jiangning Binjiang Book Club, introduced the club's purpose, development scale and annual work. Ms. Guo Minli, a counselor from State Key Laboratory of Natural Medicines, presented the construction history, organizational activities and future development plans of the“Books Benifit”Reading Club.
Then, with the theme of Literary Creation and My Spare Time, Mr. Zhang Weiliang shared with the students and teachers the basic methods and techniques of writing novels, and taught them the secrets of constructing characters in novels. Afterwards, everyone shared their own feelings and insights.
Finally, Mr. Zhang Weiliang presented his representative works to the participating teachers and students.
